Rock the Stars Team Building Activities
Rock the Stars supplies team building activities for corporate events using music to motivate and inspire participants. Over the years we have worked with some of North America's best known companies.
U Rock!
U Rock! is an engaging group activity where participants join bands and learn to play and perform as a team. To begin participants are formed into teams (bands) and taken to breakout rooms. Band members choose instruments: guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, percussion or vocals and learn how to play their song.
Following rehearsals each team takes the stage and performs their song for the rest of the group. Optional costumes are provided so participants can look and feel like rock stars.
You Write the Song
Led by experienced song writers, participants are formed into teams (bands). Each team is assigned a song and provided the original lyrics.
Teams are given a topic that fits the themes for the event and write new lyrics for the song, reinforcing key phrases and takeaways. Following rehearsals each band performs their song backed by recorded music or a live band.
Team Lip Sync Contest
To begin teams select their songs & costumes for the competition from an assortment of vintage clothing, hats, wigs, sunglasses, and accessories.
Music is selected ahead of time that appeals to a variety of tastes from artists like U2, Queen and Beyoncé. Judges keep score and make comments after each performance. Awards can be given for best performance, costumes, stage attitude, etc.
Live Band Karaoke
Rock the Stars takes the passion of rock 'n' roll and lets you live it first-hand. In this interactive experience guests are given the opportunity to sing or play an instrument with a live band.
Music brings people together to create excitement, memories and fun. What better way to make lasting connections between colleagues and friends!
Sing Squad
Prior to the event clients choose a song to perform from a supplied list that resonates with their group and the objectives of the activity. A custom arrangement is created for the song, suitable to novice singers, that builds to an exciting and inspiring finish.
Sing Squad can be used as an icebreaker or conference energizer that builds bonds between participants and leaves them more receptive. It can also be used as a team building or closing activity that solidifies the takeaways of the conference and leaves people on a high note.U Rock!
