The object of the game is to join or&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">manage a rock band that gets signed to a record deal and wins a battle of the bands&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">competition, paving the way to fortune and fame. Participants are assigned a series of tasks&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">and challenges that ultimately lead them toward their goal. Wild cards are used to change&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">things up during the game and present new challenges.&nbsp;</span></div>

It puts participants in a position where they&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">have to show leadership, teamwork, creativity, and communication skills - all traits the company&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">is looking for in new hires. On the flip side role playing games are hip and entertaining and the&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">client wants to show recruits that a conservative financial organization can still be a fun place to&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">work.&nbsp;</span></div>

Some hotels, for example, offer team building on their&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">websites. When you click on the link you are shown a picture of a golf course or a spa. These&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">types of activities offer minimal team building value at best.&nbsp;</span></div>

For example a team lip sync contest&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">where participants perform in front of colleagues (vulnerable) and receive a huge round of&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">applause when they finish (safe &amp; accepting).&nbsp;</span></div>
<br><div><span style="color:inherit;">Activities that require a skill that not everyone has are not good at building trust. For example&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">rock climbing or golf where the ones who are skilled excel while the rest of the group feels&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">inferior or left out. Puzzle challenges can also be like this where the smartest ones in the group&nbsp;</span><span style="color:inherit;">come up with the answers and the rest become observers rather than participants.&nbsp;</span></div>
